Asphalt shingles

Metal roofing is great for draining rain or heavy snow off your house and can even resist strong winds. Built-up roofing
Built-up roofing is a great option for material for flat roofs or roofs that are low in pitch. This material is cost effective and can last up to 20 or 30 years. Built-up roofing consists of overlapping layers to from a barrier of a couple of layers thick. A layer of finely crushed stone is then embedded over the top of these layers to create a durable and sturdy roof.
Wood roofing
Wood is a great material to use on your roof if you don’t like the look of more industrial materials such as metal or concrete. They are also great at making your house look bright and fresh. Although wooden roofs can be quite expensive and are not particularly long-lived, meaning they will need to be replaced every couple of years.
Synthetic slate roofing
Constructed from polymers combined with recycled plastic and rubber, synthetic slate is a great alternative material. It gives the same effect as slate shingles yet is much more lightweight and can be easily installed. Although it is not as durable as slate but comes with a great warranty.
